Records
A record is an individual entry for a CRM object, such as a contact, company, or deal. This section covers actions shared by those objects, including searching, filtering, opening, editing, deleting, associating, and changing views.
Fields, tabs, and some actions depend on the object. When a guide uses Contacts in its screenshots, it identifies them as an example and notes the differences that matter.
Workflows belonging to a single object — creating a deal from a contact, a proposal’s line items, visit metrics — live here too, alongside the shared actions, and their titles say which object they belong to.
If this is your first time here, start with Index page overview to get your bearings in the list, then move on to Get a preview of a record to open one.
